Dining Plans +
All students living in residence halls are required to participate in one of the following meal plans. Freshmen are required to be on the Platinum or Gold Constant Plan. Each includes Dining Dollars to purchase snacks and guest passes for others to use. Purchase your meal plan in the Wildcat Express Center. All residence hall meal plans are valid beginning with breakfast in the Wildcat Den on August 18, 2016 and continue through lunch May 6, 2017.

DINE NMU (commuter, faculty and staff plans) +
DINE NMU (commuter, faculty and staff plans) provides participants a number of “all you care to eat” meals at the Wildcat Den or the Marketplace, based on the plan chosen. DINE NMU is available to all commuter students, faculty, staff and the local community.

Meal plans carry over from Fall Semester to Winter Semester. The plans do not allow our customers to request “To-Go” containers, or remove food and/or utensils from the dining rooms.

This is not the same as CatCa$h.
Dining Dollars are transferable from Fall to Winter Semester, but expire at the end of winter semester. Any remaining amount is non-refundable. For students leaving at the end of fall semester, Dining Dollar balances are non-refundable.
Dining Dollars are accepted at:
Fieras, Cat Trax, the Marketplace, Wildcat Den, Starbucks, Wildcat Café, Smoothie King, Temaki, Melted, Sundre.
CatCa$h is a program that allows students to use their Wildcat Express Card for certain student transactions. CatCa$h is an accepted form of payment at all NMU dining locations and the library. CatCa$h never expires. Students may add CatCa$h to their card at the Wildcat Express Center in the University Center. Accepted forms of payment are credit card, check and cash. Also, CatCa$h can be added at the circulation desk in the Learning Resources Center with check and cash or at the ValuePort III machine located on the main floor of the library with cash only.
Manage My ID is a useful online tool available to assist students who use CatCa$h. Accounts can be accessed at nmu.managemyid.com by registering an email address and creating a password. Students will then be able to view CatCa$h transactions and balances, report a lost card and deposit funds into their account. Family and friends can make Guest Deposits via this website provided that they have the student’s NMU Identification Number.
Meal Plans Details +
The 75, 50, and 25 visit meal plans carry over each semester & never expire.
All freshman students assigned to any residence hall, except Spooner Hall, will be required to be on the Platinum or Gold meal plan.
Students possessing a meal plan have the ability to eat at the Marketplace or the Wildcat Den.
Students are not permitted to share their meal plan with anyone; lending another student their student I.D. can be cause for disciplinary action.

Thanksgiving Break: November 19th – 27th
End Date: December 10th (After Lunch in the Wildcat Den)
Start Date: January 12th
Spring Break: March 4th – 12th
End Date: May 6th (After Lunch in the Wildcat Den)
Change by Date:
