Meals on the Go

"Meals on the Go" is a NMU Dining program to allow individuals with a meal plan to pre-order and pick up a meal when they will be unable to come into the Dining Facility for a designated meal period because of a conflicting event.

Each meal plan participant requesting this service will be required to complete and submit the "Meals on the Go" Application Form to the Simply Superior Catering & Events Office (Room 1104) University Center, one week prior to the start date.

  • Once the application is accepted, the student will receive an email.
  • You may submit a "Meals on the Go" order form for meals you will miss. These forms are available in the Simply Superior Catering & Events Office (Room 1104) University Center.
  • This service is available:
    Monday - lunch, Monday- dinner,
    Tuesday-lunch, Tuesday- dinner,
    Wednesday- lunch, Wednesday- dinner,
    Thursday-lunch, & Thursday- dinner
  • The Wildcat Express Office will deduct one meal for this service if the student fails to pick up brown bag meal.
  • Students will request their "Meals on the Go" from the cashier in the MP and CafĂ© Libri. The cashier will swipe the student's card and deduct a meal from their plan.
  • To ensure a safe and high quality product, lunches must be consumed within 4 hours of pickup.
  • The participant is responsible for notifying the Simply Superior Catering & Events Office when they want to stop the "Meals on the Go" program, by emailing meet@nmu.edu or calling 227-2623.
